Old Mill to host Brexit debate for farmers

Have you decided which way to vote in the EU referendum on 23 June? Many farmers are still unsure on the real implications of Brexit or Bremain, so Old Mill accountants and financial planners have organised a high profile debate to shed further light on the topic.

The debate, featuring Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Michael Seals MBE, Sir Peter Kendall and former MP Tessa Munt, will be held at the Bath & West Showground, Somerset, on Tuesday 14 June.

“The referendum whether the UK remains in or leaves Europe is of great importance to all farmers,” says Mike Butler, chairman of Old. Mill. “It is a personal decision for each of us to make but it is vital that we are all as informed as possible.”

Presenting the case for Vote Leave will be Jacob Rees-Mogg MP and Michael Seals, chairman of the National Fallen Stock Company. On the remain side will be Sir Peter Kendall, chairman of AHDB, and former MP Tessa Munt.
